Prayer Meetings
The "power hour" prayer meetings take place monthly, on the second Wednesday of the month at 8pm.
There is a prayer meeting before the morning service between 10am and 10:20am in the upstairs room.
Why do we PRAY?
Luke 18:1
'Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.'
Matthew 18:20
'For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.'
Isaiah 56:7
'...these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my
house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted
on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all
nations.'
2 Chronicles 7:14
'...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and
pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear
from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'
Quotations
'If ever there was a time for us to turn to God and to pray as a nation it is now...'
Billy Graham
'Prayer is the slender nerve that moves the muscles of omnipotence.'
Charles Spurgeon
'Prayer depends chiefly, almost entirely, on who we think we are praying to.'
Andrew Murray
